Zooey: She pretended she was from Neptune.
Jimmy: Right. That’s right, she was from Neptune.
Zooey: Cause she’s four years older which is a very vulnerable, like, amount of years. Because when I was three, she was seven and she’s already ….
Jimmy: Evil?
Zooey: Evil. She pretended she was - she basically just used the plot of the Invasion of the Body snatchers. To terrify me! And a very over the top performance I might add.
Jimmy: She told you she had been replaced by aliens?
Zooey: Yeah, okay, so the aliens had - the Neptunians had killed my real sister and replaced her with a false Emily, Who looked just like her, talked just like her, but, when my parents weren’t in the room, made crazy faces at me. Talked like Vicki from Small Wonder.
Jimmy: And this scared you?
Zooey: This was terrifying.
Jimmy: Did you believe it?
Zooey: I was terrified!

ZOOEY: I plan on it. Right now he just gets very excited when he sees anything that moves. So, I’m really fun… because I move.
JIMMY: Henry’s in the trailer a lot?
ZOOEY: Yeah, he’s with my sister all the time, so I get to go hang out with them.
JIMMY: Yeah, that is nice. Do you hang out there a lot with her?
ZOOEY: Whenever I can. I’m working all the time and so is she, so you know, if I have a break that’s long enough.
JIMMY: Is that how you explain it to the baby? “If I have a break that’s long enough.”
ZOOEY: Yeah, if I have a break… That is long enough!

Emily: When I was little, my sister and I, we were going to a beach and we were on this tropical island and my mother told us you have to be really careful because there were sharks around there, and my sister asked, ‘do all sharks make that noise?’

Her impersonation of Zooey is so accurate.

ZOOEY: You were definitely- you’re a really good big sister. You were very protective.
EMILY: Aw thanks. Not always.
ZOOEY: Sometimes you were mean, but most of the time you were pretty nice.
